Cocaine Love

the night the words left his lips

was a night so rare

held me by the hips

stroked my wavy hair

it might've been the venom

poisoning our minds

it might've been the outcome

of his wicked wicked crimes

it could've been the moonlight

it could've been the stars

it could've been the burden

of many, many scars

his gaze was confused

it was help he refused

secrets left his mind

that now leave me blind

needles dug

under and above

but I feel no pain

fear was numbed

on that night

by his cocaine love
