cocoon
my blanket still smelled of you the next night,
and brought me to smile with thoughts of you
cocooned within them, still sleeping softly.
my dear, how i wish i could have joined you
in your cocoon, smelled your scent more closely,
your skin in my senses instead of the
ever-fading whisper of your presence
