Coffee

The scent that fills the room with a new day

a new sky, different faces, new memories to be formed

this black liquid gold accompanied me through the years

every new day

the same wonderful aroma, the same cup, the same 5 am talks with my mother, the same sunday breakfast surrounded by those i love.

whether i decide one lump or two, half & half or pure, bitter and as black as a desert night

the only difference is who surrounds me when i enrich my taste buds with this liquid gold

things have changed and people left, the same feeling has stayed with me throughout the years.

so please,

i hope you understand when i say

i love you more than coffee.
