coffee shops

The leaves are changing colors from green to yellow and orange and red

My candles are being lit up

Sweaters find their way out of the closet and my heart finally feels warm

In the movies when the leaves start to change colors everything feels perfect

When they sit in the coffee shop and write

Write about how in love they are and how good everything feels

As I lay on my grandmas bed feeling the cream color take me in and make me feel at ease

I feel like I'm in a movie

Where I can write about how in love I am with you

Yesterday in your arms was the only other day I could feel at ease

As the color of the leaves change so does the color of my heart

It goes from a selfish green to an excited yellow to a bubbly orange and finally an in love red

I change with the leaves because of you
