Cogs In My Head

Turning, they're turning.

Cogs are swirling,

Vines are curling,

There's 72 songs playing in my head.

Turning, the world is turning.

Phones are ringing,

And I am still pinging.

Trying to find a connection,

Lost without redemption.

No! That's a lie.

Redemption is always here.

Like a phoenix,

We fall only to come back to life.

Its's like an intricate race.

In which I quicken my pace,

As I strive to be the best I will be.

The cogs in my head are turning.
