Cold

Today is cold

Yesterday is old

Yet the future remains unknown

They tell me i have the world

To be whatever i want to be

If i want they say

I can make history

Yet i am a simple kid

Only dream i have is getting rich

They say chase your dreams

But i might trip

They say its easy now

because it was harder then

But did they know

that today is so cold

Today you do not know

Whos your friend

and who wants your end

it seems they are both the same

Then things were simple

Dreams were within your reach

You did not have to beg for money

From people you will never meet

Education was cheap

Today things are hard

All i have is my gloves and my scarf

No human warmth

No sun smiling at me

Just a snowstorm

Preventing me to see
