Cold
I did nothing; at least I tried not to,
I watched you cry.
And I felt nothing.
I worry about you.
No, that’s a lie.
It's me I worry about.
Me is all I ever worry about.
When did my heart grow cold?
When did I stop loving everything?
Why am I heartless?
I don't know but its grown worst.
I no longer care for you or anything at all.
I watched you cry and turned away,
Like you weren't even there.
I caught myself smiling at your pain?
Is this what I have become?
Am I a soulless creature that smiles at you dying little by little?
I have no clue and I don't expect to change.
I've come to live with it,
And now you will.
I am coldhearted and I can live it....just not you.
I'm sorry...
