Cold

So cold and chill in every place

Can heat not enter empty space?

Must we shiver from frost and fear?

Why can’t we fight for life in here?

And regain somehow the warmth of grace

That long forgotten frozen pace

Trapped far behind an ice blue face

Those secrets hidden somewhere near

So cold and chill in every place

The distant thoughts began to trace

The memories of warmth in case

The last time that we felt such cheer

Will not return to save us here

For soon the ice will reach our face

So cold and chill in every place
