Cold Air

It’s cold

Again.

I sit outside…

rivers flowing down my face

because I saw you and

Her

together.

I saw her in your

Bed.

I saw her in your

Arms.

I saw your

Smile.

I saw my jacket on you,

and

Her

Pressing up against it.

It’s cold

Again.

I close my eyes,

and breathe in the winter air

and all of sudden I feel

15 again.

I keep my eyes close,

I see you!

I see you walking towards me,

a glow in your eyes that I long for

Now.

I see you smiling at

Me.

I hear you say my name..

“Cari”

I reach out to you…

But all I feel is

Cold

Air

Again.
