The cold and lonley world

(poems go here) I see the world gray and dull The streets Sidewalks The world Just waiting to blast past this Just waiting for someone Anyone To take me by the hand But they say, The world is heartless and cold I guess there are no fruit trees growing in my backyard No rays of sunshine Just grey and dull I’m waiting Just sitting here waiting to blast past this lifeless world People say they will be there to help you But at the end of the day we are just alone Those people you call friends or boyfriends Are all but gone And I’m left just sitting and waiting For the world to change back into the colors of summer With rays of sun and laughter from children playing outside But those days seem all so far away So I’m just sitting here waiting Waiting patiently Till, One day I will blast pass this colorless world and make it my own again
