A Cold Blaze of Epiphany

"I just want some neutral ground" this paradoxical line _____ to escape into furious motion and through it all find; at the end of freedom's rainbow... a place of rest I want a bicycle again I want to ride through a flurry of puddles to a place where a waterfall is frozen "I just want some neutral ground" a bicycle actually does show up it is mangled in a horrific traffic accident he begins to assemble a new one then, in a cold blaze of epiphany he casts it piece by piece into the river "I just want some neutral ground" I can and should get back on the horse critics who turn themselves into evangelists often struggle he doesn't note the coincidence did he contact her? his story is on his side the same cannot be said for her but it can and should be said "I just want some neutral ground"
