Cold Case

Just one job,    That leaves my candle burning bright. White boxes labeled cold that hold all of despair's delights. Unanswered cries for help. Red tape reflects off the white of my eyes, an endless sea of injustice. Just one job, to bring the dark to light. Burning desire unravels humanities secrets. Pleas of retribution fuel the empty moments. Lifeless eyes that compel the sight of the hunt, they will have their justice. Just one job, rekindle the life lost. That once shown bright.
