Cold Home
I am from “Chilindrina” to “Chimoltrufia”
that my mom has nick named me.
I am from a powerfull women
that has to play the role of a hardworking father
because my father is too busy
playing the role of a coward.
I am from doing everything on my own
because my mom has to work her back off
so my brother and I could have food on the table.
I am from a cold home.
My dad i've seen him in my whole life twice.
My mom she’s never home
I never see her even if we live in the same house.
I am from “fuck! I have have a parent meeting again, who am i going to take”
I am from hating the words “met” and “parents”
in the same sentence
I am from wishing my mom would stop trying to be that dad that left.
To start being simply my mom
because i'd rather have her give me tight hugs
but instead she tries to buy my love with her stacks
She always says I have everything I want,
but if she only knew
all I really want is my mother’s love.
