Cold Love

Your cold love kills It wraps its false arms around my true soul Lunges a solid dagger through my heart Piercing and causing the blood to run cold Bloodshot and puffed from mourn Whips and tortures me at a scorn Thoughts of your cold love throw my mind off track But my heart is saying “somehow I got to get you back” I got to look deep inside of these fiery flames and find you again Rescue you from the pains of time Oh the past times we’d enjoy where two flames binded as one When we would have partnered every race in life and won I was yours and you were mine, Forever were we meant to be until the end of time Beyond the dark horizon where one soul became two I’d thought I’d die at the thought of losing you There below you disappeared from my sight Walked out of my life walked out of what we had And left me, lost and abandoned there I stood crying and stranded Through was I, positive that my life was over, A man in white robes appeared to me in a dream And told me that everything would not be what it seemed From the flame he pulled you out, Put you back in my arms where you were meant to be held Why do you phase my love? Telling me you love me not but your heart Says another? Come; share my world where love is always warm and eternal…
