Cold place

The world is a cold place.

Everything you love, taken from you in a blink of an eye.

friends you once had are now your enemies

what was once beauty is now horror.

The  light begins to darken,

your world comes crashing down.

countless sleepless night you cry for answers

Why? Why you?

Lost, afraid, alone , and helpless

The world is out to get you and you don't know why.

Dreams now crushed, lovers now gone

Everything that surrounds you is filled with darkness and hate.

What happiness you once had,

feels like light years away

Dreams of demons and death haunt day by day

you pray for things to get better.

Nothing has changed.

Your hope grows thin, you begin to lose faith.

Days go by you begin to blame yourself.

Youre imperfections drive you crazy

The world is cold.

Life sucks, darkness all around.

You question your existence,

Is your life even worth it?

A waste of space you think to yourself,

ending your life is the best way out.

Tears fall down your face.

You wonder why,

The world is cold

 One day a light emerged,

hope came again.

Faith was restored,

pieces came together.

Lover , friends , and family united.

Happiness was found,

until the air grew thin.

A loved one was lost,

The skies were grey,

but faith grew strong.

 The world is cold ,

but you are brave.
