Cold Wind

I am devastated and heartbroken

I wonder if you will ever be my clarity again

I hear your breathing as if you were still here beside me

I see that there was magic in the air when you were right here beside me

I want you to know that I searched and searched for you but I never found you

I am devastated and heartbroken

I pretend I feel you in my arms

I feel so lonely and deserted

I touch my face to wipe my sorrow tears

I worry that in the end I will find no one to talk to

I cried and the tears felt through my face like a waterfall

I am going to miss you

I understand this is a process of life

I say this moment is going to be hard to overcome but,

I dream that one day you’ll magically appear back into this world

I try not to let this get the best of me

I hope one day to see you again

I am so bad at goodbyes; I hold my breath and close my eyes
