A Cold Winters Love

This war between

two lovers

Now tares us

apart.

Some my call it

Cuban Missle Crisis,

Others call it

The Cold War.

All anger and hurt

is unleashed.

No holding back now.

I have fallen.

Fatuge and weakness,

takes over me.

You're gaze travels

down to me.

I look up.

You're eyes cold, dark,

almost heartless.

I finally learn

my lesson.

Never fall in love

with the enemy.

You place the barrel

of you're gun

to my head.

I close my eyes,

knowing my mistake.

I fall into a

deep peaceful sleep.

Forever.
