A cold world

When you where 3 years old,

you thought the world was gold,

but as soon as you turned 9,

You started to understand the world is cold.

At age 12 you thought maybe the world,

would grant every wish,

but after your first heartbreak,

You realized life is a witch.

Finally at 18,

your slate feeling completely clean,

you assumed the world would be more freeing

but when you began seeing,

those men on the street,

calling you like an animal,

it made you feel beat,

and you realized you weren’t complete,

and you felt like you where dancing

to a song with no beat.

And soon you realize

that song will be complete

as soon as you meet

the one who makes the world

feel a little less cold.
