coldness

The cold night of the freezing december

Calls for the need of the burning ember

As i look out the window for the snow to admire

All that could be heard was the crackling fire

I took the final sip of my wine

As a wave of coldness ran down my spine

I got up against my will

To go back i would kill

I felt the coldness once again

Like we were connected with some sort of chain

I walked my way outside

In my robe full of pride

I touched the snow

And watched it glow

As I was in the cold night of the freezing december
