College

Started with mom taking care of you,

The older you get the more the responsibility shifts to you,

Through elementary, middle school, and high school,

You never had to do it alone,

But now it's college and you're going on your own,

Tuition and housing costs money,

To not apply for scholarships you'd be a dumby,

It's free money to get you in school,

So apply for many and don't be a fool.

Now I'm in college,

To expand my knowledge,

Asking you for a scholarship,

Hoping I get the tip.

Thanks again for reading and considering my poem.
