College
Finally I get to begin a new life reach my goals, and possibly find a wife. But thats not the main focus time to get my degree, and if I fail at that then its all on me. In the big leagues now no more being spoon fed, either you do your best or back home you will head. Why do we have to attend college at just the age of 18? Maybe I should just say forget this crap and go join the marines. No thats ok maybe if I play with this basketball enough that should be my excuse. Talking a big game knowing I didn't have the juice. Not then but its here now, or is it too late? Financial aid suspended so now I don't have the cake. Damn how could I waste this oppurtunity? I should have took it more serious but at 18 years old I didn't know what I was getting into not knowing its go hard or go home, but fast forward oh shit the rent is due. From a dorm to an apartment all while in college, how is basketball going hmm 3 severe ankle sprains and I just keep getting hungry. But for success because I know if im given a shot I can't be stopped. Last few weeks of this semester How I wish I could have done better. Got an apartment, a car, a girlfriend, and a good paying job. But lost my education trying to maintain all those things. So is it the end for me? Hell no my faith is too strong, now at 20 years old I know now what I should have known at 18. I have no regrets I just wish I could tweak it a little bit. Now this is the end, not for me but for this poem.
