College

We work hard for 13 years,

and they tell us to go after our dreams.

But then the time comes, 

and we become so scared

because we were not prepared.

High school allows you free education,

but college can be thousands of dollars for just one year. 

High school teachers say "remember this for college",

While college professors say, "this is not what you did in high school".

In high school, you can say, "You never told us we had a test",

But in college, they tell you in advance, so there are no excuses. 

In high school, you have support from parents,

but mostly in college, they will not be there to help you.

When it comes time for high school graduation, 

they say you can continue in college.

But even going to college does not guarentee

That you may not be able to be who you want to be.
