The feeling of wanting to hide under your covers from the world
Everything changes after 18
You leave your house
And you go somewhere where you don’t know anyone else
Of course there’s fear
But there are also other feelings
Ones that make you ready to take the jump
The freedom of no expectations
People respecting your intelligence
Others listening to your input
And making your own decisions
These are the feelings that make me ready to take the jump
