College...

Sometimes I feel alone in this world,

Like there is no one even there.

I sit and wonder why I should even care...

Everyday I just grind and grind

And yet I still feel like I'm always behind.

It's supposed to be a fun time, so I hear others say,

But I barely get by from day to day.

How do I get through it? You may wonder what it might be,

It's the one who I know is always there for me.

I think about her face, her laugh, her sweet smile,

And I think everything is okay, at least for a short while.

Knowing I can see her when the weekend rolls around

Gets me through the week in this small, big town.

The weekends are always perfect in each and every way

And I wish the weekend could last each and every day.

I get to spend it with the one I truly love,

The one who I am always dreaming of,

The one who I know will never leave,

Becasue I know she is the only one for me.

The more I'm with her the more I see,

That she is right where I wanna be.

And when the weekend is over and my reality sets back in,

I always get the feeling like I'm alone again.

But then I remember that there is someone there,

The one that I love and that will always care.<3
