College
My mind always busy,
thinking of what could be.
Based on choices, actions and thoughts
solely made by me.
Stress, the endless emotion.
Study, work, and try to live life.
Perfection, a far away goal.
No time for sleep, eternal strife.
Study hard to secure a future.
18 years decides what you are,
no chance to change it all,
no time to raise the bar.
But college isn't the end of life.
The future is still endlessly free.
College is merely a choice.
Dreams determine who you'll be.
School, the temple of learning.
Teaches you everything that you need.
So learn while the fruit is ripe.
Take you life in your hands be your own lead.
Stress, is for those who live,
full of limitations and doubt.
But life is overwhelmingly free,
so just stop and see what lifes all about.
