College Competition

As a little girl I was excited to go into the world,

who would've ever thought it would be this tough,

not many can say they went through the same stuff.

But its all good,

I’m living life without fear.

Yes, every now and then I shed a tear.

Then I say, “honey look in the mirror”

looks don't kill, you gotta be real.

The past is in the past,

you’re life is going by fast.

Dont let them hold you down,

reach for the stars!

You have goals that are promised with gold’s.

In your next vision put in your ambition,

because you're limited edition with college competition.

Test days are the worst days,

now I’m out here writing essays.

Damn right, I like the life I live,

because it went from negative to positive, that is all.
