I am only a senior

Trying to be a dreamer

I want to build my foundation 

With love and determination

I want to go to KU

But my mother says that she hates to be a shrew

I do not have the tuition

For KU's admission

This day and age, in our nation

It is hard to earn an education

It costs lots of dollars

So I will have to try and be a scholar

I am on a mission

And I cannot stop wishin'
