Color

When you look at me what do you see? Do you see the color of my skin? Do you see the struggle of my life? I know what people think. White girl growing up with privileges What does she know of Civil rights… I know that without them, the world would only be one color. There would be no black, yellow, red, or purple. Without Dr. King there would be no color in the world. Life would be a dull shade of white. All people make the world colorful, King taught us that. I have a dream and so did he. But now that you know this, what do you see? I am not just a white girl as you can see; I have the color inside of me.
