The Color

I never knew the color of your secretive eyes

Your eyes are blue like the ocean that pull me in with every crashing tide

Your eyes are green like the trees of spring comforting me with the smell of fresh breezes

Your eyes are brown like chocolate warming me with the sweet taste of love

Your eyes are every color at once yet no color at all

Too bad I never knew the color of your beautiful eyes
