Is color important in our lives Some make it hard for all to survive Hate and malice has been passed down Is that Joe's son they killed downtown Gangsters are made and prejudice is here A love United has become clear Color is beautiful in all the world So if you love someone Then you must see That color changes things Not you and me Shirley McNair

I write about things that I have been through but my favorite topic is God.

I am sixty eight year old and have been writing since I was 12 I lost my husband when he was 37 years old I have published books with other poems I wrote when I lost my eye sight God gave it back so I write about him and experiences in my life with God I call them Meaningful poetry.
