The Color of Sound

To follow passion is to fuel a fire,

and to make a bright flame is people's desire.

When this flame is kindled it is clear to the eye,

what a beautiful sound can come from inside.

I can crunch numbers in my head, and tell you why the planets revolve,

but this is not the greatest mystery to solve.

I cannot build you a mountain,

and there is no formula,

for the winter breeze on my face,

or the color of my eyes.

If I was trying to outsmart you, I could be your rival,

but can I just play a song, and see you smile?

Because color is sound, and a pictre is music;

prisms sing chords, so why don't we use this?

The mountains, the trees, the snow, and the sky;

listen to their songs and they will tell you why

the frequency of light is just the color of sound
