Color Wheel

Green

was the color of the tree

my sister would play under

when she was three

and the grass my parents would lay on

on sunny afternoons

Blue

was the color of the pool

we would visit on warm sundays

and my favorite color

Orange

was the color of the sunset

White

was the color of everything outside

so my sister couldn't play under her tree

and my parents wouldn't go outside

Black

was how i felt

after the white wouldn't go away

an our family

it was never the same
