Colorblind

A color tells you where you’re from But not where you will go It isn’t what defines you Your spirit’s what will show So why are people hated For the color of their skin? Why are they stereotyped Instead of judged for what’s within? We may look different, but when you Erase what’s on the surface You’ll find we share a common goal Of fulfilling our life’s purpose All of us, black, white, or other Dream of having success To Live, love, and follow your dreams In healthy and happiness One day we’ll all be colorblind That’s how the world should be We’ll truly live as equals In this land of liberty Like a color wheel, people come In different shades or colors Each color’s different, but not one Is superior to another
