For colored girls

I understand for the colored girls who considered suicide. I understand what it means for them to be colored

what it means for me.I live for poetry

but there’s so many questions that are still unanswered for me.

I completely understand that these are realities for many women majority who look like me brown, black, and colored it happens every day, but still I have questions I’ve acquired from this story.

I don’t understand why the mom to me is so scared of life and why she uses her faith as a shield,

also why she lets it take from her daughters ,

and why she went quietly for years in knowing that her oldest daughter had been taken by someone who had taken her

I don’t understand why the mom didn’t save her children before the window.

why she let him intrude in not only herself but her children too why she nurtured someone dangerous.

I don’t understand why the woman blessed financially loved a man she knew pondered for the opposite sex.

so many things I understand and others I don’t that’s what scares me I feel as if this movie has really given me something but taken something as well. help me understand?
