Colored Woman Section

I am, WOMAN,

COLORED.

Ask Nikki about me.

Apparently I still rise,

Despite how much I am ignored.

Poor, MAN,

COLORED.

Everyone's out to get you.

But I will raise your kids,

Work three jobs,

Cry at your funerals,

And-Those-Of-My-Sons,

Who are, MAN,

COLORED.

Poor my daughters,

Who will end up,

Just like me, WOMAN,

COLORED.

I live in a cycle of proverty.

You can't even see,

Or much less want to see.

How long shall I suffer,

In silence?

No more!
