Coloring

Color me bright.
Color me shades of orange and yellow and tints of red like the morning sun as it rises up to show off its beauty.
Color me forest green, like the grass I'm laying in right now as I'm writing this poem.
Color me powder blue, so I can be absorbed into the sky, and in white like I'm the bride of the clouds.
Color me tan, rooted with roots of the trees, and connect to their heartbeat, listening to them speak in the wind.
And the breeze will color me clear, collected with the rain to fall with my sorrow in the clearest ocean so everyone can see my pain that I'll over come one day,
And one day, color me red, like red roses to indicate love forever, forever love me.
Color me brown for branches, as each and every branch grows into something promising.
Color me in sprakles, like the sparkles in your eyes when you stare at me.
Color me bright.
And at night, still color me violent because even the darkness is sometimes a shade of brightness if you look at it long enough
