Colors

My feelings and thoughts

I leave them locked away

Even if I set them free

They'd have nowhere to run

No one to tell

All mixed together like they were never separate

Everything all at once

Yet nothing at the same time

All of my limbs stretched in different directions

In the dark on a too soft and too hard bed

The sun peeping at me through the curtains

I dont want to get up

I dont even want to move

I want to lay here and be numb and cry

This darkness is my friend

I wish it were my only friend

But no

Another stands next to the darkness, fighting it

Darkness wants me to stay here forever, as do i

But this color i can not see fights it

I have to get up

I have to finish my work

I have to look good

I have to be perfect

I greet anxiety as i leave the silence of my depression

Ready to start another day with the two fighting in me
