COLORS

From the very moment I was conceived I underwent changes

I went from being nothing to being something

Something, or should I say someone that could change the world

A rather complex world

A world that is never pleasing nor easy to understand

A world of tragedy, happiness, and hope

A world that has no limits, a world you must figure out on your own

A world that has the power to attack your bones

Living in such a complex place

Its never too hard to find yourself trying to figure out your space

Trying to understand where it is that you belong

Or trying to understand why you don't know that song

It wasn't until my freshman year of high school

That I learned that kids can be too cruel

I learned everyone has their own color

Their own way

I used to think I was too different

That my color was too weird

Now I'm proud of my color

Cause I now know I can be like no other

I grew up

I grew up on myself

I grew up on my confidence

I grew up from my nothing
