Colors

I am bright and sunny yellow,

full of happiness and cheer.

And everywhere I go

I try to brighten the room.

With a big smile and happy eyes,

there is a bounce in my step.

I am quick to laugh and sing,

I fly on yellow wings.

But other times I'm blue

as I quietly sit and listen,

and wonder why we can't live

in peace and harmony.

People are so quick

to slander everyone around,

and all I think is why?

Why must we make others cry?
