Colors

It's the color of the sun on a cloudless day.

It's the color of her hair like straws in hay.

It's the color of the flowers in which you lay.

It's the color of the stars above as she whispers, 'Make me stay'.

It's the color of her tears as you tell her you're leaving.

It's the color of the sky when the sun is shining.

It's the color of her dress as you see her standing.

It's the color of your heart as you stay there watching.

It's the color of your soul as you watch her with him.

It's the color of her eyes as she splashes him on a whim.

It's the color of the necklace that she got from 'Tim'.

It's the color of the grass you stand on as your heart grows dim.

It's the color your world as for her you pine.

It's the color of his hair as he calls her 'mine'.

It's the color of the night as time becomes one big line.

It's the color of your heart as you realize you should've stayed behind.

I enjoy writing, whether it's a short story, a poem, or a fanfiction. In my spare time I paint as much as I can, and I love to read. It's important to voice your thoughts and feelings, whether it's out loud to a real person or quietly with a pen and a piece of paper.
