Colors of Fall
Taste the colors of fall
as we usher in summers burial call
Climatic changes dramatic rearrangement
of a picturesque back drop spawns
Sunlight takes a nap
as night falls in it's lap
to take a snooze
many hours we loose
Gaining an hour as daylight leaves
prepare the winter gear
feel the chill from the breeze
It will soon be winter
Snow flakes will fall
one after another
forming a huge crystal cloud cover
Snow capped mountain
icicles dangling from trees
it's finally winter
light the fireplace please
