The Colors of Fall

Yellow, red, orange, and purple Stars falling in the sky Gathered in piles Blown around a yard Through Fence Up the Valley Down the mountain In to town Far from home In the sky again Along the ground Getting crunchy Being squished Satisfying noise Breaking into confetti Bringing joy And spectators Feeling loved Sharing love The colors of fall
