Colors of my heart

The colors of my heart share a story of the past once in front of me. It calls to me to the point of the unknown. It is a rainbow that is not as bright as I want it to be and the treasure not yet found at the end of that colorless rainbow. Yet I feel as though one day it will change one color at a time as though someone will paint the colors that should be there. The brush strokes every so slightly breaking apart the grayish of colors created by the unwanted madness of this story. The colors pulling at my heart as if to remind me there is life within. The beating of this heart grabs ahold to the reds, the greens, the blues, the yellows, the oranges, and the purples of the new rainbow to mix in with the beating of this tortured heart. It brightens and even soothes what once was the tragic truth of the chosen broken path. Following the newness of each changing of colors and the thought of finding the treasure at the end of this path. It will take time as you well know but each color embraces my heart that one day it will all come to the most deserving of love that is within that treasure.
