Colors Representing Me

Different days lead to different colors

I’m an eye popping magenta pink-

a sassy and fierce side emerges

like models walking down the runway strutting

with their new fashion clothing draping on them.

But on the rough days, I am a dull, ash grey-

worn-down and dim

with no explanations why?

I walk the halls washed and pale

trying to find my inner flare of pink again....

Not every day does grey take over,

pink shines most of the time.

Vibrant blizzard blue is the mood today-

wind blowing, breezy day

calm and collected and shy

like meeting someone new for the first time, timid.

Tomorrow may be different, a caramel brown-

stressed and self-confident

agany and anxiety take over

like secret missions needing to be accomplished,

but just cannot be complete...

Each are original, just like me.
