Com-passion

A cancer patient, An illegal student. They both have in common As much as they differ. Striving for a chance To continue the journey, A fight to advance Ahead in this life. They both have a drive, They both have a passion To do what it takes To follow their vision And far from compassion They inspire ardor, The immigrant student Is the cancer survivor.
