Combined Arts

Poetry has taught me many a thing

Lyrics, language, and the inspiration they bring.

Rythmes in time for the Melody they sing.

I've been through school, with music in my head

Waiting, counting, or writing instead.

Music and language forever are wedd. 

I've studied much art, the two are intertwined

I'm counting and keeping the whole band in time.

Tempo and tension, rythme and rhyme.

I've learned through poems that all art has a place

That branching out, expanding is important, at a pace.

I've written through words what through notes I could not,

And learned the importance of expressing one's thoughts.
