Combust

I laid out the fuse,
just waiting on you.

Flickering in the distance,
a spark to the ignition.

Emotions light up,
feelings burn up.

Now a pluming mystery,
do you want to kiss me please?

Fuel to the fire,
the flames getting higher.

Engulfed in beauty,
a warm sense of victory.

Hotter than you think,
melting as you breathe.

Scorched from the inside,
you’ve never felt so alive.

An inferno flowing,
our passion still growing.

Eternal blaze,
fiery fervor that will not fade.

I say it how it is. Don't take anything for granted.
