Combustion

Carbon and hydrogen Make fuel well burnt Combustion. CH plus O2 Yields flame and light, Heat for energy, But smoke and pollution, Rid by the flora From which it came. If more is combusted Less is taken away. A terrible cycle Broken only by new life.
