Come Back Child

The loss of a child is the worst pain to bear.

The all consuming sadness that follows is something that no one can handle.

Greif overcomes the soul and soon a gut wrenching pain consumes the mind.

You scream and scream begging for god to bring back your child.

Praying for a miracle only to be forgotten and put aside.

Bathed in silence instead of love.

Just as grief  can overcome the soul so can anger.

Things like faith and religion become a thing of the past.

Everything you once held dear slips away.

Every color, taste and sound dulls and life loses meaning.

Soon you fade away to be greeted by the one thing that you had wished for all along.

The smiling face of your long lost child.
