Come forth ...
Come forth
2 Corinthians 7:1
7 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves
from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
“Lazarus come forth”,
you are dead no more.
Jesus of Nazareth
is standing at the door.
Obey His Voice and get up
to grasp the eternal core.
Just one call He gave you
and death’s power was no more.
When you came to the door
were you still smelling?
Resurrected from the dead
pieced together by Life.
All you did is stand
to be looked at in amazement
by every one there present
except by Jesus Christ.
